Some are bang on. Some seem stupid but it depends on the person’s background (some people are stupid!). In American cowboy films baked beans are all anyone ever eats (by campfire at least)! What annoys me is the assumption that I live in the United Kingdom. Yes, England is in the UK/British Isles but that’s another matter. I always write ‘England’ on forms and get annoyed when there’s no choice. :p
